Check the fabric

Spray directly on the stain

  • Dry, clean white cloths

  2. Lay the fabric of the cloth flat on a stable surface of the table top. Place a dry, clean white cloth underneath the stained area.
  3. Gently scrape off as much solid lipstick as possible with a dull knife or credit card.

Removing Lipstick Stains from White Washable Clothing

Requirements

  • Dry cleaning solvent
  • Liquid chlorine bleach
  • Liquid laundry detergent
  • Dry, clean white cloths

Ways on how to get rid of a lipstick stain from a white washable garment:

  1. Get some instructions on the label of the garment regarding spot-treatment.
  2. Place a dry, clean white cloth underneath the stained area after laying the garment flat on a stable surface.
  3. Use a credit card to scrape off the excess amount of stain from the cloth.
  4. Soak a dry, clean white cloth in dry cleaning solvent.
  5. Dab the area of the garment until all the oily substance has disappear

  7. Rub liquid laundry detergent on the stain.

How to Remove Lipstick from Polyester

The following are some of the steps on how to remove lipstick from polyester:

Step 1

Use a plastic utensil such as spoon to scrape off the excess amount of the stain from the cloth. Soak the stained area in milk for at least 30 minutes. Wing the fabric out and wash it in the sink with warm soapy water.

Step 2

Spray the stain with hairspray and leave for some minutes to stay in the garment. Wipe the stain away with a soft clean cloth.

Step 3

Soak the stain in ammonia for 30 minutes and then launder as usual.

Step 4

Pour eucalyptus oil on a sponge and sponge the area free of the stain.

Step 5

Apply vinegar to a soft clean cloth and wipe the stain with it until it lifts. Launder the fabric as usual.
